Dear Parents,
It was a pleasure to meet with you during Parent Teacher conferences last
week. The children are making wonderful progress. Thank you for all of your
support.
The Mission Fair is on Tuesday. Please remember to send in the money for your
child to participate in the fun. Please see the letter sent home last week
for details. Tuesday is also Valentine's Day. I am sending home a note to
confirm donations for the party. Thank you for your generosity.
In religion class your child will be learning about God's family, the Church,
as well as St. Valentine and St.Bernadette and Our Lady of Lourdes.
In math class we continue to learn about measuring time using calendars, and
analog clocks to tell time to the hour.
In language arts/reading we learn about the sound Dd makes and the correct
handwriting cues to form the letter Dd. The new sight words are: for, you.
Our comprehension skill is to discuss the main idea of the story.
As a reminder, there is no school on Friday, February 17, and Monday,
February 20.
