Hello, I am Mrs. Susan Chioffe. I have been teaching in Washington for 5
years now. I taught kindergarten for 3 years at Taylor Street before moving
to Memoral where I taught 3rd grade last year. I am moving back to
kindergarten to teach with Mr. Tinor! I was happy to accept this request, and
I look forward to teaching with Mr. T! We are going to be an awesome team!
I live in Stewartsville, NJ with my husband Brian and my three sons. I have
twin boys, Matthew and Christopher who are seniors (wow!) in Phillipsburg
High School. My youngest is Jonathan who is 11 years old and is a sixth
grader in Stewartsville School. We have a dog named Birdie, she is a black
lab/beagle mix that we rescued from a dog pound. She is a wonderful addition
to my family! She is such a great dog and we love her!
I am very involved in the Broadway-On-Broadway production at Memorial
School. I help to choreograph the dance numbers. It is a big commitment to a
very big show that involves the 3rd-6th graders. When the show comes together
in May it is really wonderful!
The boys and I are all very active in sports and outdoor activities. Chris
plays on the high school varsity football team for PHS and Jonathan plays for
the Little Liners in P-burg. Chris is very involved in the FFA of P-burg. He
is the parlimentary Officer for his senior year.Matt has taken an interest in
guitar, both accoustic and electric. He is also involved in many computer
activities at the high school. He is on the track team, both winter and
spring, where he does triple jump.
I look forward to all the wonderful learning we will be doing this year.
There is so much to learn and I know the kids will be excited. They are all
going to do a great job, and I am honored to be a part of it!
