I have taught at Upper Township Primary School for 13 years!
Prior to that I taught first grade in Wethersfield and West Hartford,
Connecticut. I began my teaching career at Trinity College's
School for Young Children in Hartford, Ct. working with the two and three year old children.
I am a graduate of University of Connecticut, and received my Masters
Degree in Education from St. Joseph's College, West Hartford, Connecticut.
I have been an member of the International Reading Association for twenty
years, and have been active in both the State of Connecticut Reading
Association and The Reading Council of Southern New Jersey.
I live in Ocean City, New Jersey with my husband, Bob, and my dog, Tally. My
sons, Jason and Jonathan, also live and work in New Jersey.
I love to read, play tennis, golf and mahjongg, and spend time with family
and friends.
My primary mission is helping each child acquire a level of independence and
acquire the skills to become self-improving learners and lovers of books!
