offers four or five preschool screenings throughout the school year. The
screening is available to all preschool children who reside in Upper
Township.
The Child Study Team administers the DIAL -3 (Developmental Indicators for the
Assessment of Learning), an instrument used to determine if children between
the ages of three and five demonstrate weaknesses in motor, cognition or
language skills. If a child scores as having a "Potential Delay" on this
instrument, they would be recommended for a Child Study Team evaluation.
