Upper TownshipSchool District offers four or five preschool screenings throughout the school year.  The screening is available to all preschool children who reside in Upper Township.  The Child Study Team administers the DIAL -3 (Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning), an instrument used to determine if children between the ages of three and five demonstrate weaknesses in motor, cognition or language skills.  If a child scores as having a "Potential Delay" on this instrument, they would be recommended for a Child Study Team evaluation.
