The library media center subcribes to online databases to facilitate teaching and learning for Lounsberry Hollow students and staff. 
This is where you will go to find magazine and encyclopedia articles for research and personal interest.
If a subscription site requires a password, ask the library staff so you can access anywhere, even from your home.

a searchable picture database and a dictionary.

What are E-BOOKS?
E-books are electronic versions of real books. Use the hard copies in our library or access the
complete contents from home in E-Book format! At the Lounsberry Hollow Library Media Center, many students use the special subject encyclopedia sets listed below. To access the electronic version of these resources online as E- books, see a library staff member to obtain the password. Have fun exploring: 1. American Revolution Reference Library 2. The American Library Association (ALA) has composed a list of all the Newbery and Caldecott
Medal winners.  Under each date, you will also see the Honor Books (runners-up receiving a silver
medal).
Remember:  if you ever need help to find what you need, just ask Mrs. Turner in the library.

Google e.encyclopedia is a wonderful library reference book. It has been called the ultimate learning resource; 
Over 600 subject areas connect to 1,000 links for even more information beyond the book.  
Look for keywords in the reference book to use as search terms at the website above.
