Yes! All language skills improve when reading improves.

Will my child be in the same reading group all year?

No! Our guided reading groups are flexible and skill based.
The children are assessed frequently and always instructed on the 
appropriate level.

How are the children assessed?

Our assessment is authentic. Each child has a portfolio with all 
of his/her own work in it. Assessment is ongoing. There are two 
report cards and two conferences.
