As advisor of the Warnsdorfer EarlyAct Club, I am pleased to invite your
elementary school student to be a part of the club. EarlyAct is a unique and
vital school-wide public service club sponsored by the Rotary Club of South
River/East Brunswick. Open to all elementary and middle school students,
EarlyAct is not just a club, it is an opportunity for your child to build
character, learn leadership skills, and develop a strong sense of community
and teamwork.
This is a Club that energizes, engages and encourages young minds to give of
themselves to their school and their local and global communities. Some of
the projects that EarlyAct members have been involved in were: adopted a
family for the winter holidays, made holiday cards for seniors and children
in hospitals, Pennies for Puppies (The Seeing Eye), wrote letters/cards to
soldiers in Iraq, collected quarters for the Cure for the Cancer Institute of
New Jersey, had a Toy-Toy sale, sent local kids to day camp, cleaned parks-EB
township, collected books for global literacy, and raised money to purchase
books for our school's media center. For years, we have collected pop tabs
for the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick and have delivered over one
million tabs. The Club also continues to collect, sort and mail coupons for
soldiers and their families abroad.
Have your child become part of a dynamic Club that teaches young students to
be caring, helpful, and respectful of others. Encourage them to be a part of
EarlyAct and learn how individuals, by working together, can help their
neighborhoood, their school and even their global society. Please make a
difference. EarlyAct gives its members a sense of pride, accomplishment and
a foundation from which good students and citizens are able to excel.
The Warnsdorfer EarlyAct Club meets on Wednesday mornings from 8:20 to
9:00am in the Media Center. If you would like your child to join get in
