This week in social studies we will focus on:

1. We have completed writing note cards for the fourth grade research
   project.

2. Mrs. Frank will be working with students to complete their rough
   drafts.

3. Students should be working on the following parts of the research
   report this week. 1) the cover, 2) title page, 3) map of US, and 
   4) finding at least 2 pictures and writing captions for them

4. We will begin Chapter 7: Challenge and Growth by exploring Lesson
   1: A Divided Country
