Seniors are eligible to apply to the NJ School Counselors' 
Association Scholarship. Three Students will be given scholarships 
of 
$1000. 
The New Jersey School Counselors' Association is proud to award a 
scholarship to a graduating senior who best meets all the criteria 
outlined, which includes acknowledging how the student's counselor 
has 
had an impact on the student's growth and process.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Awards 50 four-year $20,000 scholarships and 200 four-year 
$10,000 scholarships for use at accredited colleges and 
universities 
within the US. 
Rewards leadership and excellence as exemplified through 
academic achievement and extracurricular activities, including 
commitment to community service. 
Available beiginning in August as an electronic application. 
Applications must be submitted by October 31 of the senior year to 
qualify.

HESAA New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship
The New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship has been 
established to aid the dependent children and surviving spouses of 
New 
Jersey residents who were killed in the terrorist attacks against 
the 
United States on September 11, 2001, or who died as a result of 
injuries received in the attacks, or who are missing and officially 
presumed dead as a direct result of the attacks. Those incurring 
the 
full-time cost of attendance at an eligible 
institution, having lost the financial resources of a parent or 
spouse, 
are deemed to have financial need. Qualifying individuals will 
receive 
up to $6,500 per academic year, not to exceed the actual tuition, 
fees, 
room and board charged. Scholarship amounts may also change as a 
result 
of changes in program funding and student's other available 
financial 
assistance. 
Scholarships will apply to both in-state andout-of-state 
institutions.

Scholarship name: Stuck at Prom Contest
Organization: Duck Brand Duct Tape
Amount: Up to $2,500
Deadline: June
Award requirements: Applicants must be at least 14 years old and 
attending a high school prom in the spring. You must be a U.S. 
citizen, enter as a couple (two individuals) and attend a high 
school prom wearing complete attire or accessories made from duct 
tape. Each couple must submit a color photograph of the two of 
you together in prom attire. Awards range from honorable mention 
prizes of Duck Tape sportswear to a first-place prize of a 
$2,500 scholarship for each member of the winning couple and a 
$2,500 cash prize to the school that hosts the prom.

Award requirements: Applicants must be U.S. citizens in their 
senior year of high school. An adult professional who can attest 
to their achievement must recommend students for this award. Must 
demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by their 
description of an outstanding achievement they have accomplished 
in a nonacademic activity or project.

The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards run annually from April and

young Latino leaders with grants for their college education or to

include, but are not limited to: Business, Community Service,
