What Will I Learn in the Wood Shop Class?

Wood shop will explore the basics of hand tools and machine operation.
Individual students can progress to obtain a through knowledge of tools used
in the shop and learn the safe handling of power machinery. While learning
these skills, the student will apply them to the construction of basic
projects which will enable the student to choose and plan projects consistent
with his or her own interest and skills.

What Will I Learn in the Drafting Class?

This course furnishes instruction and experience in mechanical and
architectural drafting (drawing). Some of the mechanical fundamentals covered
are pictorial, multiview, and sectional drawings. The various aspects in
architectural drawing covered are floor plans, elevations, foundations,
details and specifications.
