It is my intention to help students become more aware of the world they
live in. Mathematics is not a course of plugging numbers into equations and
solving. Thus, I hope by June to have given my students a chance to see that
math is a subject to tamper with and delve further into than any textbook can.
The reason I became a teacher was to change the way most students view
mathematics, to make it seem less intimidating and more comfortable to them.
