If you'd like to make a gift to the classroom, gel pens and colored pencils are always 
welcome.  

Buttons, larger size beads, and plastic "jewels" are great additions to our art tub.

We can also use 6-8 oz.-size plastic yogurt cartons WITH LIDS, for storing 
paint.

Half-pint Milk Chug or McDonald's Milk Jug containers with lids are handy for a maraca 
project.

We can also use paper towel tubes, bathroom tissue tubes, and other small building 
materials for our art tub.  It's helpful if you send "valuable junk" items in a few at a time 
rather than saving up a huge batch, as classroom storage space is limited.
