I am beginning my fifteenth year of teaching at Bandelier Elementary. I have a BA in Philosophy and an
MA in Elementary Education. After briefly teaching preschool I stayed home for a few years with my
children. I then returned to school and earned my teaching certificate. I taught fifth grade for one year,
then taught kindergarten for eleven years. This year I am looking forward to my third year teaching first
grade.
My husband and I have three adult sons who attended neighborhood schools.
