Dear Family, February 13, 012
Here are a few reminders for this week-
· Field trip tomorrow-Tuesday, 2/14 walking to the bus stop, taking a city bus to see “Sylvester and the Magic Pebble” at Popejoy at UNM. IF the weather is good, we will leave early and take a tour of the Mineral Museum before the play, but if the weather is ugly, we will wait to leave until 11…we will have to wait and see! Everyone should dress in layers, good walking shoes, and bring a sack lunch in a disposable bag with a drink (except those that ordered from the cafeteria).
· Valentine’s Day-We will have a short card exchange in the afternoon when we return from the play. If you send cards, be sure to include everyone-we want all the kids to feel included. Thanks!
· Math Night-Wednesday, Feb 15th-Dinner is at 5:30 in the cafeteria and sessions start at 6:30 and 7:05. Please join us for an evening of learning about Everyday Math and how your child is learning math.
· Spring Activity Fee-It’s that time of year when we collect $25 for field trips, special projects, and cooking supplies. Please send in a check for $25, made out to Bandelier and have your child’s name in the memo. I will put a receipt in their folder. THANKS!
· Parent Teacher conference forms are going home today, please sign up soon for a time. It’s a first come, first serve basis for getting a time that works for you and your schedule. I am also offering before and after school times on March 5, 6, 7.
