I have been teaching for the past fourteen years, and have taught a variety of grades and subjects. This
is my fifth year at Bandelier. I have also instructed students in Virginia and Oregon. I have a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Art Education, and am certified to teach Art, Elementary Education, Language Arts, and
Gifted Education. I recently obtained a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I have taught
International Baccalaureate courses in English at the high school level, and love to read and write. I am
also an artist, and incorporate a lot of art projects into the curriculum. I am a big fan of mythology,
science fiction, animals, and movies. I enjoy hiking, photography, traveling, singing, and spending time
with my family.
