May 2012
The final weeks of school are approaching. It is, therefore, an exciting and dynamic time for all of us! I encourage students to focus, stay on top of assignments and expectations, and to take the time to reflect on the year. Maintain the academic stamina you have developed this year.
As a seventh grade class, we have read 100’s of books. We have written pages and pages, both poetry and prose, have thoughtfully considered diverse points of view and perspectives, made text connections that both surprise and enrich us, and have explored different styles of writing.
Summer is coming, so be on the lookout for interesting books to read – books that spark your interest and challenge your thinking as well as entertain and inform you.
If you have questions about any assignments, please remember to check the “Daily Agenda” calendar, the “Handouts” link, or the “Links” on this webpage. And you are always welcome to contact me.
Hang in there!
Ms. Lazar :)
