We had a wonderful Fall season in our garden. We grew plenty of tomatoes, peppers and cilantro. Several batches of salsa were made and enjoyed! Thanks to Triskeles Farms & Mountain Gardens Nursery for donating so many beautiful plants. Also, special thanks to the 2nd graders of P-3 and the Student Council for extra help with planting and Fall clean up.
We had a fantastic turnout for the Garden Work Day! Almost 30 adult volunteers and 20+ children helped. We have a fresh flooring of wood mulch, cleaned up beds, made room for the new cold-framed bed, and new chalkboards! We also installed drip irrigation for three of the beds. A worm composting bin (built by parents) was installed and is ready to be filled! It was a productive and busy day!
Check out our new paint job on the picnic tables and bed frames! Many thanks to a couple of parents for the help.
We are looking for plant donations for Spring planting. If you are able to donate plants or money for planting, please let us know. Thanks!
