Hello! This is my 8th year at Prep and I feel very fortunate to work here.
It's fun to come to work almost every day. I teach 9th and 7th grade science
and am also part of the Outdoor Leadership Program and look forward to going
on camping trips with you this year!
Goals:
Hello! For the next year we are going to explore together the sciences that
help explain the world around us, a world that you and I are an integral
part. The goals are:
• TO GAIN AWARENESS OF THE LIVING SYSTEMS AROUND US
• TO DISCOVER, EXPLORE, AND TO ASK ‘WHY?’
• TO STUDY SCIENCE AS A PROCESS RATHER THAN JUST THE CONTENT,
ENCOURAGING OBSERVATION, QUESTIONING AND INDEPENDENT RESEARCH
• TO PROVIDE A FOUNDATION OF CONCEPTS, LAB TECHNIQUES AND SKILLS
NECESSARY FOR HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCES
