Using workbooks, read and write all over the text of Letter From Birmingham jail, pages 191-198. (6th period just did to page 196, but we got to hear Mr. Cupp talk to us in exchange!) I'll be looking for proof of close reading skills. Finish this as homework for a homework grade due Tuesday.

Look at two poems from different viewpoints.
ACT Practice test for an easy A
Work with Photograph paragraphs you have written. Turn rough draft photo paragraphs into a complete essay, with an intro, 4 or 5 body paragraphs. You may type it at home, due Tuesday, if you want extra credit, or you may hand write it in class on Friday. You must show editing between the rough draft and the final draft, and I will be collecting both for a grade. If you want to type your essay, be sure to bring in your favorite SSR book to read instead of write.

Look at state test score. Those who did poorly in Language Arts will be placed in a Reading Strategy class next year instead of an elective, so care and do your best on the next DBA test.
