1. SSR - Be sure to have your own book
2. Root Words - Quiz Friday
3. Read and study Robert Frost's "Out, Out-"
4. Complete a TWIST of the poem, a short paragraph about each:
    Theme, Word Choice, Imagery, Symbols, Tone
    Be sure to have excellent sentence structure and vocabulary.

August 17
1. Write yourself a seven paragraph letter, using handout as suggestions as 
to what you can include 
in your letter.
2. Finish Marigolds
3. Answer two questions:
    What was your last act of childhood
    When is a time you planted marigolds
4. Root Words - For each word, find three words with the root, define them 
and write an example 
sentence. Quiz next week.
    Aer, Aero - air
    Ambi, Amphi - both
    Amo - Love
    Andro - male
    Anthrop - humankind
