| Parents it has come to my attention that my phone is not working correctly.
No, I'm not kidding. Some of my messages are coming through and some of
them are not! I am sorry if you have called and I haven't gotten back to
you. I can honestly say, I've never gotten your messages. Administration
is aware of the problem, and I believe they are working on fixing the
situation. Please e-mail me at mick@aps.edu or send a note with your child
so that I am sure to get back to you...sorry for any inconvience.
I have had a chat with all of my classes about effort, and asking questions,
and turning in work and studying. I really want for students to be
successful, but I am only part of the solution...students and parents should
be having conversations too.
Kids and parents should check out the website regularly.
Please take some time to review your student's planner, you will find that
it is full of important information and exciting news concerning the school
year. There are several changes and it would be great for all parents and
students to be familiar with policies and procedures.
As always I am available during tutorial (advisory). Students can always
come and see me for help, questions or study time.
I hope that everyone will take full advantage of opportunities offered at
VHS!
