Do I need to bring school supplies on the first day of school?

Yes, if possible. Much of the first day of school is spent
arranging school supplies so activities can be filed in their
correct binders. If school supplies are a problem for the first
day, arrangements can be made easily.

Parents, keep binders empty for the first day.
