Spelling Groups:
Children in Group 1 study and write only the 1st 5 words.
Children in Group 2 study and write the 1st 10 words.
Children in Group 3 study and write all 15 words.
Star Words:
Each group may choose to learn and write any or all of the three extra *
words. Our test will have three * blanks to write as many of the three star
words as your child would like to try. Have fun with these words!
Spelling study method:
1. Look at the word. Say it.
2. Use the word in an oral sentence.
3. Look at the word. Say each letter.
4. Write the word WITHOUT LOOKING.
5. Check the word.
