Welcome all new and returning students to Choir I and II! This group has
some exciting things planned for the school year! Students in Choir 1 and 2
perform at 2 concerts each semester and attend choir festival in the spring
to sing for a panel of judges and receive feedback. Students also have the
opportunity to represent their group on the Choir Council, sing solos and
participate in small ensembles, participate in solo and ensemble festival, as
well as audition for regional, state and national honor choirs. This course
fulfills the humanities requirement for graduation.
There is a lab fee of $25 for this class to cover the cost of cleaning and
rental of a uniform for performance.
Materials needed: A single subject, spiral-bound notebook for class journal,
pencils for daily class use (no pens!) and appropriate shoes and undergarments
for performances.
