Library Policies and Procedures:
I am looking forward to another great year in the library with Spring Creek
Elementary students. I hope all students will learn to gather and use
information for reports and projects as well as enjoy reading many of our
wonderful books.
All grades K-5 visit the library once a week for library lessons and book
check outs.
Book Check Out:
Kindergarden: 1 book every week/Maximum 2 books checked out.
First Grade: 2 books every week/Maximum 2 books checked out.
Second Grade: 2 books every week/Maximun 2 books checked out.
Third Grades: 2 books every week/Up to 4 books may be checked out if
a student needs the books for a report.
Fourth Grades: 2 books every week/Up to 4 books may be checked out if a
student needs the books for a report.
Fifth Grades: 2 books every week/ Up to 4 books may be checked out if a
student needs the books for a report.
Books are due in 2 weeks. They may be renewed at any time.
The library is always open before, during, and after school.
When a student has an overdue or lost book, they are not allowed to check
out more books until the book is returned or paid for. Overdue notices are
given to students at the beginning of the week.
Please put library books in a special place at home. This way books will
always be returned in a timely manner.
Library Volunteers Needed: Parents are needed to shelve books,help with
check in/out of books, and keeping book shelves in order. See Mrs. Bradley
if you would like to help.
