All students from grade 2 through 7 are required to take Accelerated Reader
tests on books that they have read. The testing requirements are set by
each individual teacher and vary from grade to grade. Please ask your
teacher the requirements for your class.
The Accelerated Reader program is accessible to all students in these grades
through any computer in the Academy. To access Accelerated Reader from
within ASJ click here:
AR Tests
Enter your username and password given to you by Mrs. Carlson
Under the Accelerated Reader heading, click “Take a Quiz”
In general, you will be taking Reading Practice Quizzes, so click on that
choice.
Choose the quiz you want by entering only one of the following: the Title,
the Author or the Quiz number.
Click search. BE SURE TO SPELL EVERYTHING CORRECTLY AND EXACTLY AS IT
APPEARS ON THE BOOK.
Select the book you are testing on from the list generated.
You will also be asked to select whether you read the book by yourself,
together with someone (or your class) or the book was read to you. Please
choose the correct choice.
