What if I fail the final?

If you fail the final, you will have to retake the course next 
year. You
must pass two years of language to graduate.

What if I pass the final, but fail the course?

You must pass the final AND have a passing final average in order 
to earn
the credit and pass the course.

What is passing?

A 65% or higher on the final AND an overall average of 65% for 
the 4
quarters and final exam.

What does the final exam include?

Speaking Spanish is 30 points. Listening Comprehension is 40 
points.
Reading Comprehension is 20 points. Writing is 10 points.

When will we do the speaking portion of the final?

We will be taking the Oral / Speaking portion of the exam will be 
taken in
June.

How are averages computed?

Any activity (homework or classwork)that is Listening 
Comprehension is 40%
Any activity (homework or classwork) that is Reading
Comprehension is 20%.
Any Speaking activity is worth 30%.
Any Grammar or writing activity is 10%.
