Beekman Elementary School

The Beekman Garden was established in 2006 with a grant from Lowe’s. Our goal was to create a community learning experience where students and teachers could gain an appreciation for establishing, growing, and maintaining plant life from the classroom to the garden while exploring the scientific method of inquiry. Over the past 5 years the garden has helped over 1,000 Beekman students to share classroom experiences in our plant science curriculum.
