Our iZine projects are under way! Students are working on creating personal magazines on a topic of
their own choosing. We are researching article ideas, writing features and news stories, and
learning about how media gets information across to audiences. Most writing projects will be
nonfiction based, and we will have a culminating research article that will serve as the 7th grade
research project assessment. Students are keeping copies of all work in a folder in our classroom,
and final magazines will be assembled in the 4th quarter.
