Melody Unit
1. Students write out 8 different measures of rhythm
2. Circles the most interesting measure
3. On another piece of music paper, students write 8 measures of melody notes.
4. some students get to try their melodies on the pianos in class
5. Mrs. Cowan records these melodies for class to hear
6. class selects favorite melody
7. class writes a song to this melody.
8. this is recorded and played back to class.
