About The Teacher

I believe:

All children can learn and have the right to be educated in a safe and 
healthy environment.

All children are entitled to be treated with respect, fairness, and 
compassion.

As a teacher it is my duty to find the most effective way to educate each 
individual child, taking into consideration students' interests, learning 
styles, and multiple intelligences.

I am a facilitator in the classroom.

In order to be the best educator I can be, I must continue my own 
education and learn the latest approaches and techniques in the field of 
education.  Furthermore, in our global society, it is imperative that I 
incorporate the most current advances in technology.

As a member of the school community, I will advocate for my students, their 
parents, and my colleagues for what I believe to be right and just.

I can learn as much from my students as they can learn from me.

It is my duty to be the best teacher I can be and through self-reflection 
strive to be better.
