  1. When I ask my child, "What did you do at school today?", he/she answers, "Oh, nothing". What questions can I ask that would help?

Try asking specific questions such as;
What book did your teacher read to you today?
What did you write about today?
Who did you play with today?
What was your favorite part of the day?
What learning centers did you go to?
Who did you eat snack with?
