I am a New York State Certified Elementary School Teacher and a
New York State Certified School Library Media Specialist, Grades K-12.
In today's world, all of our students need to acquire the thinking skills to
select, critically evaluate and use information effectively. During Library
classes, students learn how to gain new knowledge, draw conclusions and make
informed decisions. I love connecting students to the joy of learning
through the use of technology and a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction
books. I feel lucky to teach at such a wonderful, caring school!
When I'm not at school, you'll probably find me having fun with my family,
outside taking photographs, listening to music, reading or cooking in my
kitchen.
The Library's mission is to inspire and guide students to develop a passion
for reading and discovery, while teaching the strategies needed to become
successful users of ideas and information.
