About The Teacher

I started working at Arlington in 1998 as a Teaching Assistant, and in 2000 
began teaching English.  I got my B.A. at Vassar College and my M.A.T. at 
SUNY New Paltz.  Although in high school I never thought I would be a 
teacher, I enjoy teaching English very much!

Mission For The Class

While being able to analyze and interpret is the hallmark of an English 
classroom, these skills are necessary in all arenas of life, especially in a 
time when information is so easy to access.  It is my hope to give students, 
through books and the study of language, the tools they need to think 
critically about themselves and the world around them, as well as to express 
their thoughts.
