IPL: Internet Public Library
The goal of IPL is to provide library service on the internet!
There are some very useful resources on this site including ready
reference materials (almanacs and dictionaries), reference
pathfinders, books and magazines. I suggest following the link
from Kidspace to Reading Zone where you will not only find
information on your favorite authors, but also online stories.

of what this site has to offer.

Bookpals Storyline Online
This site offeres beloved children's books read by well known
stars. My personal favorites are A Bad Case of Stripes read by
Sean Astin, Brave Irene read by Al Gore, and Wilfrid Gordon
McDonald Partridge read by Bradley Whitford. Take a look! It's
not only fun, but also a site that can be enjoyed by the whole
family.

Jan Brett's Homepage
There are lots of wonderful author pages out there, but Jan
Brett's is one of the best! Right now she is showing how to draw
deomonstrations. The "How to draw" books are always checked out
at the Traver Library, so I thought highlighting this site would
give those children who miss the physical book a chance to get
some drawing lessons. I also promised my second graders I would
put this site up for them. Have fun!
