BIRD NESTS
Over the Spring Break this is yuour challenge: Pick a bird, any bird! Then go
to our web site Science Links to do some research or use your local library.
You need to make a nest that this bird would have created. Make sure you are
using the right materials and be sure to make the nest actual size! When you
come back to class, you will present your nest to the class along with
information about your bird. You should be trying to answer the following
questions in your presentation:
What is your bird's name?
Where does your bird live?
What is its habitat like?
Does it migrate to a different place to raise its young?
What does the bird use to make its nest?
How many eggs does it lay?
How long do they incubate?
Is there any special information we need to know about how this bird cares for
its young?
