IS THERE HOMEWORK?

Yes, always. Mrs. Martin gives assignment sheets for each unit
topic/or chapter grouping in US. All the homework is
contained in these packets. Copies can be found on the web page
for each class. See the tool bar at the left.

In the SIXTIES, long term assignments were distributed at the
begining of the class. Sixties students are also sometimes
assigned readings and must outline in their notebooks or write
reflections on video presented in class.

PIG students are assigned reading from the text and must outline
in their notebooks as chapters progress. There are also projects
and community service which are outlined in the intro materials
given when the semester/class begins.

What supplies do I need?

Students should have and bring to class a notebook, blue or
black pens and a positive attitude.
On test days, number 2 pencils and pens are required.
At home you should have stapler to attach papers that must be
turned into Mrs. Martin

Should I have a stapler at home?

Yes, all work to be handed in must be stapled together.
Presentation is very important. An inexpensive stapler can be
purchased at a dollar store.
It is a small price to pay for a professional, polished look to
your work.
Please do not hand in reports, essays current event summaries
etc. unless they are stapled together. Thanks.
