Reflexive Verbs:  I ask myself
Reflexive verbs are used in all of the different verb tenses in Spanish to express the recipient of the verb action.  For example, if you want to say, "I wash the car," the recipient of the verb is the car, so you can just say "Lavo el carro."  However, if you want to say, "I was my face," you are washing yourself, so the reflexive verb would be used: "Me lavo la cara"

Past Tenses: Imperfect:  I used to speak/I (habitually) spoke
The imperfect tense is used to describe an action that is not seen as completed.  There is not a clear beginning or end.  The imperfect is also used to describe on-going, habitual actions in the past.

Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns
Pronouns are handy little words that are used in both Spanish and English to make speaking less troublesome!  Instead of always saying things like "I buy the shoes for my sister," pronouns allow us to say things like "I buy them for her."  Useful, huh?
