This is my 7th year at Arlington High School teaching in the Business
Education Department. My courses include College Marketing, Business
Ownership, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, and the Business of Music.
The College Marketing students will receive 3 credit hours at Dutchess
Community College in addition to 1/2 credit at Arlington High School upon
successful completion of this course for Juniors and Seniors.
I love working with high school students to learn their interests, help guide
them to a college major or career, or just understand the classes and
activities in which they participate.
After working as a Print Sales Representative for 20 years, I made a career
change, going back to graduate school to get a Masters in Education so that I
could teach Business Education classes. I also have NY certification in
Social Studies and Students with Disabilities. Previously I had obtained a
Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelors in Economics. In 2005, I
moved here from Chicago, a beautiful city to experience.
In all of my classes I hope that all students have a bit of fun, learn
something that they can use in the future, and perhaps become business or
marketing majors when they go to college. I hope to inspire them to dream
big and follow their dreams.
