I'll use this page to highlight our journey in writing. This year the children will publish pieces in genre including: my moments, small moments (narrative), how-to, letters to the author, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. In each genre the children will brainstorm ideas, draft daily, then choose a draft to take through the rest of the writing process (revising, editing, publishing). When we're all published, we invite parents to a special "Publishing Party" where we share our hard work!
