The Quilting Club is open to LMS students who are interested in learning the
basics of machine sewing and the fundamentals of quilting. It is my goal
that each member become comfortable using not only the sewing machine but the
rotary cutter as well. This year, each club member will create patchwork
pillows using his or her own choice of fabrics. We use traditional quilting
patterns
such as log cabin and court house steps. The Quilting Club is fun and
relaxing
and a nice way to make friends while being creative. The club will meet on
the first two Wednesdays from October until our Spring break in April.
