FAQ

Questions from students and parents:
  1. When do you offer extra help?
  2. I was absent, what did I miss?
  3. What assignments do I owe and can they be made up?
  4. What can I do for extra credit?

When do you offer extra help?

Extra help is available at least once a day. It can be offered in the morning, during periods 4 & 6,
as well as afterschool by appointment (since my schedule changes weekly). Be sure to see me to
make arrangements and to get a pass.

I was absent, what did I miss?

Check the class binder at the side of the room. Look at the table of contents and see what
worksheets you need to get extra copies of. Help yourself by getting them from the gray cubby for
each grade level. Also, check the class planner to see if I collected anything and to get the
homework assignment that you missed.

What assignments do I owe and can they be made up?

You are welcome to check my gradebook to see what assignements you are missing. In terms of
making them up, if it is handed in the next day you will get half credit. Otherwise, no credit will be
given.

What can I do for extra credit?

Extra credit opportunites are presented by me a few times a year. You are welcome to do something
on your own at any time. No more than 15 points of extra credit will be awarded for one quarter.
See me to discuss an idea and get approval.
