Homework is generally assigned on a daily basis and is worth 20% of your
quarter average.
If you do not hand in a homework on time, you have until the next day to
receive half credit. Missing assignments may not be made up for credit after
that point.
You may use your free homework pass, given out once each quarter, on a
general assignment only. You may not use it on anything that is being
graded, such as a project, an essay, or a review sheet for a
test or quiz. If you do not use your homework pass during the quarter, you
can hold onto it and use it toward another assignment in a future quarter.
Remember, there is no point to get a zero for an assignment if you have a
pass in your possession--so use them! Save it for a night when you have too
much to do, you are not in the mood, or it is a special occassion (like your
birthday).
Be sure to check the class binder (located by the window) to see what you
missed when you are absent and to hand in any work that was collected. You
are responsible for all missed work, regardless of the reason.
