JUNIORS:

PSAT PREP COURSE begins in September. Registration forms will be distributed to all Juniors and Seniors. The PSAT will be offered to all Juniors at Cathedral Prep Seminary on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.



Start to think about college.

Begin visiting colleges.
Investigate cost, distance, entrance requirements, etc. Be prepared for
September of your Senior year.

Remember: Your Junior year grades are the first thing a college looks
at!!!!!!


SENIORS:

By these dates, all seniors should have:

October 1: Taken the SAT
Written a resume
Requested 3 letters of recommendation
November 15: Written a college essay
Taken a second SAT
December 1: Applied to at least 3 colleges
Applied for at least three scholarships
January 15:Submitted the FAFSA forms for financial aid

If you have not yet met these goals, please do so immediately.

A Financial Aid Night for seniors and parents will take place in December
in the studio.
Important information will be discussed and forms will be distributed. If
neither a student nor a parent from your family will be represented, please
see Mr. O'Keefe for information. The FAFSA may be submitted beginning
January 1, 2011.

PLEASE BRING COPIES OF ALL ACCEPTANCE LETTERS TO MR. O'KEEFE FOR YOUR
PERMANENT FILE.
