This is my 22th year as an educator! I received tenure in ESL from Chatham
in February of 2009. I teach K-12 English as a Second
Language and love it! In addition, I am the High School Newspaper Advisor and
International Club Advisor!
I am a graduate of Manhattan College and New York University. I majored in
Italian/Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish for my undergraduate
studies and received the Frederico Morati Medal of Excellence for
outstanding academic achievement in Italian from Manhattan College. My
graduate studies were in Educational Administration and English as a Second
Language from NYU.
I was named an academic scholar and a graduate study embassador.
Before moving to Chatham, I had many diverse experiences in PreK-master's
level education in downstate, NY.
I live in Chatham with my husband, Mike and our son, Michael along with our
two other family members,Shadow and Daisy Mae.
The Mission of English as a Second Language is to ensure that all English
Language Learners receive a quality education, become proficient in English
and soar within a warm and nurturing learning environment!
