There is a growing trend in our community of our high school and some middle
school students using a product called.... K2, or Spice, or Aroma.
It is a synthetic form of Marijuana, and can be VERY dangerous to their
health. Please feel free to call the Health Office.
IT IS NOW ILLEGAL TO POSSESS OR BUY!!!
ALL STUDENTS who want to play sports, MUST have a current
physical on file in the Health Office prior to the first day of
tryouts/practice.
If not, that student WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to participate
until the proper forms are turned in to the nurses office.
NYS Education Law requires all students in 10th grade to have a current
physcial on file, including BMI (body mass index percentile).
Forms available in the Nurses Office at this time, continue to monitor the
website for forms on-line.
All 10th grade students also will be having vision/hearing screenings in the
nurses office throughout the year. Any other students will be screened based
on request either by the student/teacher/parent.
All 9th grade students will be screened for scoliosis throughout the year as
well.
