* Books circulate for a period of 3 weeks. After which you may renew
them for an additional 3 weeks, if there is not a waiting list for the item.
Magazines are loaned for one week. If a reference item is needed to be
borrowed, they are loaned over night.
* A fine of 5 cents/day is charged for items not returned or renewed on
time. Additionally, you may
incur a fee if an item is damaged while in your possession.
* Borrowing privileges are lost if materials are overdue or fees are
outstanding. (Even if you HAVE to
have a book for class next period.)
* Faculty/staff may borrow materials for the school year. Occassional
reminders may be sent. Please
return materials as soon as possible so others may utilize them. You are
responsible for lost
materials.
The libraries at John F. Kennedy provides curriculum related materials for
students in grades 6-12.
Instruction on resources will be provided to classes as requested by
classroom teachers. Resources
that are not housed in our collection can be borrowed from other schools in
Erie County via inter-library
loan.
Materials for recreational reading are in abundance and encouraged to be
borrowed.
