It's hard to believe we've been in school a whole two months already! We
are settling in very nicely and getting accustomed to the daily routines and
what is expected of us as second graders. November is a very busy month and
will keep everyone hopping. The elementary will be starting the Parents As
Reading Partners program which will be in full bloom until March. Please
participate in this wonderful program that encourages reading each day to
help your child become a better life long reader.
It is also the time of the year for many illnesses to spread, so I just
wanted kindly remind everyone to remind our children to always practice
cleanliness to stop the further spread of germs to these horrible illnesses.
If we show any signs of illness please do not share them by coming to school,
but instead stay home until you are fully recovered and healthy enough.
