MONKEY Binder
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The M.O.N.K.E.Y Binder (Management Of New Kids Each Year)
contains the sections listed below. Entries are made daily so please look at
all of the sections on a regular basis.
Zippered pencil case/ money pocket
This will serve as a money pocket to use for lunch money, book orders,
money for trips or whatever else you may need to send money in for.
Clear Plastic Sleeves
Letter of Introduction to the M.O.N.K.E.Y Binder, yearly Schedule,Do's and
Don'ts for Monkey Binder,VIP List for year, Monthly Breakfast and lunch menu,
2nd grade homework schedule, Classroom code of conduct, Specials schedule,
and a Poem "If All the Trees Were Oaks".
Yellow Folder/ Give note to teacher-Write a note (Excuses)
On the left side of the folder you will place any notes or returned papers
that need to come back to me. On the right side of this folder you will find
forms for you to fill out for excuses when your child is absent. Please let
me know when you need this pocket replenished.
Blue Folder/Information Papers - Keep at Home
On the left side you will find papers for your information from Mrs.
Perkins, our principal, school nurse or any other personnel or organization
notes as well as some that may need to be returned. On the right side you
will find papers that your child completed in school for you to view and
clean out daily.
Green Folder/ Behavior Chart - Homework
On the left will be a weekly behavior chart to help you stay informed of
your child's behavior that I ask for you to sign each week and return in that
pocket on Monday. Then on the right side pocket you will find homework to be
done at home and turned in. Please take note of the take home weekly reading
assignments.
