OUR CLASS RULES
1. Listen and follow directions.
2. Work quietly so you don't disturb others who are working.
3. Respect others by being kind with your words and actions.
4. Don't interupt when someone is talking.
5. Raise your hand.
6. Keep your hands to yourself.
7. Don't tattle.
8. Respect school and personal property.
9. Always walk in the class and hallways.
10.Most importantly make sure you work and play safely.
We will have a class challenge jar where the class will work toward filling
a jar with monkeys so they may reap the rewards of a game day (at the
end of the day and week) or a movie with popcorn. Some ways for the class to
to work toward accomplishing this task to fill the jar are: working quietly
and independently, working well cooperatively in groups when we have group
work, walking and being quiet while walking in the hall, everyone bringing in
their homework each day and library books on library day, and finally if the
class receives a compliment from another adult within the school not limited
to but possibly from gym class, art class, computer class, music class,
library, the principal or even from their lunch moniter during recess and
lunch.
The important lesson to be learned from all of this will be to work
together as a team to accomplish a common goal and reap the benefits or
rewards. This will instill character in them as they begin their important
journey in life to make good choices.
